[edit] Towns, Villages and Cities wiki: wiki-node introduction
The wiki-node connects this wiki to wiki-nodes (or similar pages) of neighbouring wikis.
Many wikis have a WikiNode or similarly-named page (in "clean linked" form they are all written as "wiki-node"), grouping related wikis for ease of navigation between them. (Same idea as WebRing except shown not as a small feature on each page but as the main content on a specific page.)
The idea for the wiki-node originated on the "WikiNodes" site. It forms part of the "wiki-net" concept. (Preferably use clean linking for links and headings on the wiki-node, please.)
The "CamelCase" format arose in the days when page names had to be single "words". We don't need to use it here but it's harmless and friendly when relating to sites that stick to it.
Welcome to the Towns, Villages and Cities wiki!
