From the Towns, Villages and Cities Wikia
- Template:Outline/City includes a very brief infobox and can be pasted into a place page (or included just by typing {{subst:Outline/City}}) for ready-made headings that link to future subsidiary pages. For an example of its use, see Porirua.
- Template:Infobox_city Alternative, more detailed infobox for the main page of each city.
- Template:enWP (with the "WP" followed by a pipe then the name of a Wikipedia page) - to acknowledge copying of material from the English-language version of Wikipedia.
- Template:stub on a page indicates that it needs expanding.
- Template:test is a "first warning" to a user who's been messing around on the verge of vandalism.
