Talk:Tucson, Arizona
From the Towns, Villages and Cities Wikia
Somebody has killed off the main link to the Tucson, Arizona page! Robin Patterson 11:49, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Was it me? I didn't mean to orphan the page. There are two similar pages: Tucson, Arizona and Tucson:About (which was named just Tucson on the old site). I tried to make the links that used to go to the "Tucson" page go to this new "Tucson:About" page, but I may have goofed. I think we might want to do some re-arranging. Right now there's Tucson, Tucson, Arizona and Tucson:About. Some of those pages have topics that might be better separated out, like Tucson:History. If we combine the main pages, we could redirect any we empty to the new main page. --CocoaZen 23:45, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- I didn't want to name anyone, but yes! The link was in the demographics panel. Tucson, Arizona has most of the "city" material (as I expect you can work out from its acknowledgment). I agree that there's scope for rearranging; maybe it could be renamed Tucson:City of Tucson and concentrate on the central local authority area with Tucson being the portal to the region and the About page being just an "about this subwiki" in line with most About pages.
- Thanks for finishing the bulk of the transfer. No acknowledgments? Template:K?
- Maybe it's time we tried to get young Kaity to have a rest from her multitudinous cultural activities and sit at a PC for a while??! Robin Patterson 00:42, 26 Oct 2005 (UTC)
