Safety Harbor, Florida

About halfway down the West side of Florida is an appendature off the state into the Gulf of Mexico named Pinellas County, Florida. On the inside of the county is Old Tampa Bay. The land protects the bay. Safety Harbor is half way down right side of Pinellas County. My camera and I have visited much of the area in the past twenty years. Lived in Safety Harbor for a few years and have some pictures and stories to share. This is the pier that in days past received boat loads of people that came for the mineral springs, the Philippe Park and the horse racing. The pier was even used for dancing on fantastic evenings. Safety Harbor is much more and located so Tampa is just a short trip across a bridge. Safety Harbor, Florida has a web site with a great deal more. As time permits if requested I can add more.
