Palisade Peach Festival[]

The tradition of the Palisade Peach Festival has been around for 39 years. It happens every August on the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th.

The festival kicks off every Thursday of the year, with a bb-q, and after that there is an ice cream social, and that’s followed by a street dance.

The next day of the festival (Friday), there are self guided tours through Palisade’s orchards, as well as self guided bike, rafting, and winery tours. Later that day the peach festival kicks off with lots of entertainment all day, and the highlight of the night is the Palisade fireworks.

The third day of the festival kicks off with Lions Club pancake breakfast. Later in the day, there is a recipe contest, the 5-mile race, “Kids jammin’ for Peaches”, the just for fun car show, and many other wonderful activities. The festival also lets you enter to win prizes. The Palisade peach festival is something that has been a part of Colorado’s events and history for almost 4 decades.
