Dr S M Yeli, head of the medicine department at JJMMC , is one of the most kind and humble human being one can come accross.I was indeed fortunate to be his undergraduate student more than a decade ago, I still remember villagers coming in to consult him from far and wide, morning to evening. More often than not , its he who will dispense them money and medications and send them home, yet few knew his kindness. It his inspiring deeds that has profoundly influenced many including me to take up medicine as a career, May god bless him and his family. Dr Joel J Mathew.
