Crawfordville is a very unique small town. The African-American people that settled there after slavery days have owned farmland that still exists today. The Donaldsons, Rosiers, Slaters, Harveys and Smiths are some of the families that still reside in the area.
The once small town has grown tremendously over the years. There is a great seafood selection found in this Gulf Bay area. Mullet, Butter Fish, Sheephead, and of course, Blue Crab, Shrimp, Oysters and other delicacies that are plentiful in this Floridian town.
