Altea is often referred to as the Jewel of the Costa Blanca. It has (nearly) everything you'd want in a Spanish town. A charming old town replete with windy cobbled streets, fantastic restaurants and bars, and of course its famous church. There is a good shopping street in Altea, plenty of places to stay, a few good beaches, and nearby attractions.
